The Luck o’ the Irish

My friends and I walked down to the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria, Va., for the Alexandria Irish Festival last Saturday. Republicans definitely outnumbered (and out-stickered) the Democrats present, passing out loads of stickers and yard signs for local candidates and McCain alike. One woman even brought dogs that sported McCain apparel and called them “McCain-ines.” Always a sucker for bad puns, I thought it was hilarious.
