- Sarah Palin says that Tina Fey was “spot-on” in her impersonation of the Alaskan governor.
- In other news, a Denver professor singled out Republican students and allowed them to be mocked. He also assigned the class to write an essay critical of Sarah Palin, but has since revised the assignment to allow students to write about any candidate.
- I saw yesterday’s episode of The Martha Stewart Show, which I sought out only because it was Blogger Day on the set. Click here for a clip of the political section. The best part is when Martha asks Ben Smith, “Are you a Democrat? Is that part of the job?” She follows with, “How is it traveling with Barack Obama?” You can hear the true celebrity-awe in her tone. Good, good stuff.
- I stumbled upon this quite randomly–but there’s a bar nearby hosting a party on Oct. 1 in support of the Republic of Georgia, complete with “Russian-Less Vodka Martini” specials and Georgian wine.
