CPAC Connections
Posted by Catherine Favazza - 02/28/09 at 03:02 pmIt’s been a pleasure to meet bloggers, fellow members of Smart Girl Politics and Twitter friends this week.
I’m so thrilled to have met Ginny Ray of Obi’s Sister; Jimmie of The Sundries Shack; Justin of Shots on the House; Duane Lester of All American Blogger and RFC Radio (note the new widget on the site–so you can listen to RFC right here on my blog); Melissa Clouthier of Right Wing News and MelissaClouthier.com; Teri Christoph, Tabitha Hale and Rebecca Wales of Smart Girl Politics; Brian Faughnan of RedState; Tommy Christopher of AOL Political Machine; and Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs.
It’s also been fun to see some old faces, including Ace from Ace of Spades, Fausta of Fausta’s Blog, Krystle of Crystal Clear Conservative, Ken Shepherd of Newsbusters, Kevin Binversie of Lakeshore Laments and Ed Morrissey of Hot Air, who was kind enough to invite me on his show twice (click here and here to view).
I didn’t have a chance to write much while I was here, but you can check my Twitter account for comments, as well as the Twitter stream and blog of American Issues Project. If you are interested in learning more about CPAC and the events of the past few days, check out the blogs of the folks linked above.
To all the new friends who traveled to get here, be safe getting home!
Update: There were far too many fun people to remember proper shout outs the first time around. It was also great seeing old friends Stephen Green of Vodkapundit and “Steve Egg” of No Runny Eggs, as well as running into a new face, Andrew Ian Dodge of Dodgeblogium.

Katie – it was great to meet you, too! And I enjoyed dinner Thursday night with that mob of non-stop talkers. I’m already plotting and scheming about next year!
