Arm Yourself With Good Information Before You Protest

A great (and often untapped) resource available to conservatives is local free market think tanks. The State Policy Network has a full list of conservative think tanks in every state, each with loads of research that’s ripe for the picking for activists, bloggers and otherwise concerned voters. Use their map to identify your state’s think tank, or browse their full list of organizations.

If you’re going to a town hall meeting during the August recess or protesting at your congressman’s local office, your best bet is to arm yourself with information. A logical, thoughtful concern is much more impactful in the long run than a violent outburst. Be kind. Be factual. And remember that we win best when we take the high road.
