Ed Martin Expected to Announce His Run Against Russ Carnahan Today

I had the honor of working with Ed Martin on American Issues Project and enjoyed lunch with him at my family’s restaurant in St. Louis just a few weeks ago. He’s been entertaining the idea of a run for Congress, and this video implies we might get an official announcement today.

One year ago, Russ Carnahan may have been untouchable, unbeatable. But St. Louis’ growing distaste for his lack of judgment and his misrepresentation of Midwest families and businesses–assisted by his ability to put his foot in his mouth–may have changed that scenario.

Enter Ed Martin? I sure hope so. (Plus, with the likes of Jim Talent and Norm Coleman supporting him, what’s not to love?)
