Catherine Favazza recently accepted a job with Connell Donatelli, Inc. and its sister company Campaign Solutions, where she’ll function as an e-campaign manager for Republican candidates and center-right organizations. She will be the primary contact for a handful of clients–developing solutions for their online goals–and working with a team of developers, graphic designers and creative thinkers. She will also advise clients on using social media and blogger outreach.

Additionally, Favazza maintains this personal blog, CatherineFavazza.com, and has regularly contributed to both Townhall.com’s blog and John HawkinsRightWingNews.com as a guest-blogger.

For the past year, Catherine owned and managed Rosehill Media Group, LLC, and serving as a new media and editorial consultant to American Issues Project, Freedom’s Watch and other organizations. Prior to starting her own business, Favazza was the managing editor of Townhall Magazine, a print publication of Townhall.com and Salem Communications, after being tapped in August 2007 to oversee the launch of this new, national political magazine.

Her previous blog, Elocutio, was ranked the #1 blog in the Townhall.com community by editor-in-chief Jonathan Garthwaite in September 2006. Of the 4,500 Townhall blogs, Elocutio attracted the highest average weekly pageviews for more than a year. She received national praise for her Missouri midterm election coverage in 2006.

Favazza joined Townhall.com full-time after coming up through their farm system—completing three separate editorial and sales internships with the site. Along with traditional editorial responsibilities, she assisted in conceptualizing, researching, writing, and recording Mary Katharine Ham’s award-winning video blog, HamNation.

She was previously an editorial intern for Regnery Publishing, an Eagle Publishing company, where she edited full-length conservative nonfiction books.

Favazza graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she was an English major and the editor-in-chief of an independent, conservative student newspaper. Today, Favazza teaches intermediate and advanced English to adult immigrants through Catholic Charities.

She is originally from St. Louis, Mo.–where her family owns and operates Favazza’s Restaurant on “The Hill”–and currently lives in Alexandria, Va.
