What baffled me most in the last week, as I was studying the different ways websites are used for political ends, is how many people watched the YouTube video explaining the features of my.barackobama.com. To date, more than 73,000 people have watched an informative–albeit boring–6 and a half minute video explaining how the site works and what tools are available to those who use it. Most good video blogs can only retain the attention of their audience for about a minute.
