Are you a Smart Girl? You are if you’re a conservative woman who envisions a different kind of hope and change for America. Smart Girls (and the Smart Guys who support them) are welcome to join in a special online event this evening, the First Annual Smart Girl Politics Twitter Ball. It’s basically a big group chat with different discussion groups designed to bring like-minded women (and men) together to discuss the future of conservatism. This special event begins at 9:00pm EST and you won’t want to miss it!

What baffled me most in the last week, as I was studying the different ways websites are used for political ends, is how many people watched the YouTube video explaining the features of my.barackobama.com. To date, more than 73,000 people have watched an informative–albeit boring–6 and a half minute video explaining how the site works and what tools are available to those who use it. Most good video blogs can only retain the attention of their audience for about a minute.
